About PLAY! K9 Rescue
At PLAY! K9 Rescue, we are passionate about saving dogs that often struggle in traditional shelter environments. As a foster-based rescue, our dogs are placed in loving homes where they can truly thrive and show their full potential. Unlike government-funded shelters, we rely entirely on adoption fees and donations to continue our mission.
We believe in giving these high-energy, intelligent dogs the best chance at a healthy future. That's why we wait until our dogs are 18-24 months old before spaying or neutering, allowing for full physical development. In line with Florida law, we collect a refundable spay/neuter deposit. Every adoption and donation helps us rescue more dogs and give them the second chance they deserve.
